Started by Rob & Shannon Etienne in 2019, Labrador Lumber Company prides itself on providing the best log home components on the market. 

Since the beginning, we knew instilling family values, and running our own sawmill and millwork operation would allow us to provide our customers with more options and a unique buying experience.  From hardwood flooring made to order in longer lengths than those found in box stores, to shiplap, tongue and groove, and cabinet stock in widths not often offered outside custom millwork operations, and the specialty milling equipment for precision and accuracy in timber-framing  construction, we pride ourselves on offering more to meet your needs.

 

What sets us apart from other Log Home companies and Box Store Setups is that we manufacture ALL of our wood components onsite, without brokerage or transport fees.  We pass those savings directly onto you.

Established in 2019, Labrador Lumber Company provides quality wood components and dedicated service to our customers, in the same fashion as our predecessor, Halstead Lumber has been well-known to deliver for the past 40 years.

 

It is our passion and we're delighted to share it with you. We’re proud of our history in the wood industry and our years producing quality wood products.  From the family sawmill in Indiana to the large mills here in New York that we have been fortunate to be part of, we have earned an education that can't be bought and we appreciate every single person that has been part of the journey wtih us.

Although we suffered a devastating mill fire in the Spring of '22, we were fortunate to begin reconstruction in the fall at a milling facility rich with heritage in the rolling hills of Berkshire, NY. 

​

Previously operated by the Howland Family, there are many stories and many furnishings in the local homes that echo back to the days when the Howland Brothers rang their noontime whistle. 

 

Continuing this way of life by bringing livelihoods to people in our community and beauty into their homes, we are blessed to call this our mission.
